We have seldom been called to notice a death more deeply and sincerely lamented than that of our worthy fellow citizen WYATT FOARD. ESQ. It was as sudden and unexpected, as it is regretted. On Monday, the 7th instant, he was seized by sensations which assured him that death was upon him--summoned his wife and children around--bade them an everlasting adieu--and in an hour, was in eternity. He was about 35 years of age, and has left a widow and several children to the protection of that Kind Providence on which he himself relied.
(His widow, Mary C. Foard md. Richmond B. Gore. Guardian of the children was what may have been a brother, Thomas Foard, a merchant of Milledgeville, Baldwin Co., Ga.
Other newspaper articles (Georgia Journal) prior to this date indicated he was associated as a clerk with the penitentary and active as a Mason.
