Re: FORD-Harrison Co. Texas-mid 1800s to Now

I have another name to add to your Ford list.This is on my husbands line.I have a Sara Elizabeth Ford (b. 20 Mar 1846 Harrison Co.,TX - d. 24 Oct 1895 Shelby Co.,TX) that married Hayden Dalby on 26 Jan 1869 in Harrison Co.,TX. I haven't personally verified those dates but am positive per family information that their daughter Ellen was a cousin to Newt Ford.I'm assuming that Newt is the same person as William Newton Ford.Ellen B. Dolby married Thomas Humphries who happened to be a brother to Alice and Amanda which also married sons of George Washington Ford.

Unfortunately I haven't worked on this line much and do not have any additional information on the parents of George Washington Ford. Sara Elizabeth, and it appears Jack Isaac Ford.
