super information...........
The value of 390=25 is astounding.......its such a small group.
It certainly is a Russo Baltic type marker...........
probably originating with the movement of Celts out of Khazakstan........going north.....
At this point the majority of Celts went into Germanic regions..........while the 390=25 group was a subset that shifted east and north.
so its not really indigenous to France at all........
In other families when we see this marker: its been transplanted........
and the interesteing pattern is that where it is found in non Baltic regions: its found in connection with Viking settlements.
This would certainly include Rouen and general area.........
I will have to dig up the information you want on the De Forest family of Normandy........not sure where I stashed it.......
but they had great prominence.......were of noble status....and strong Hugenots......
.......meaning they had to get out: and were likely spread globally.........to Holland, Germany, Switzerland, England and across the seas.
I would say if the French connection holds up: there is a solid chance Micheal would be a member of this clan: the history and the DNA would probably be consistent.
