So sorry it has taken me this long to relply. From the responses i have seen they only tell me more of the same. Sorry but I know that Fouch was somehow founded by a black man who for some mysterious reason named the town Fouch and then an actual Fouch lived in the town untill he died. Can someone explain to me why ? Why would this black dude name the town after someone who around the same time or right after lived there. Look it just makes no sens? This Fouch was not a guy saving blacks from slavery or doing anything but logging. From what I was told bye my grandparents he was a pretty shitty guy who killed his native american wife then was killed bye his native american girlfreind. I dont meen to through a monkey wrench into the famlly works but there is my whole side of the family wich started there and is still going on that we dont seem to talk about.
