fowler family from new york

i am trying to help my aunt research her family. i am not sure of the spelling but they were from lausvilleor lauville,new york. her fathers name was sam and other siblings were brother Tim, sister Laura and possibly Ruth fowler. this was either in or near watertown new york. my aunts name is Lois Fowler.any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you very much.
