Re: James Fowler of SC

The William in my message stayed in Georgia and
is buried in Cherokee County in the Fowler family
cemetary.The house that he built in 1835 is
still standing and is being kept up by the
current owners of his property. Unfortunately,
I and other Fowlers I know have proof that their
ancestors came from SC but are not able to
connect to any of the SC Fowlers mentioned in
census records.Most of mine were illiterate and
left no wills or other document.
