John J Fowler m ? Arey/MA before 1912
I am at an impass. What I do know is that John Joshua Fowler Married an Arey sometime before 1912.This was his second marriage, nothing much is known about the first marriage beyond it produced two sons, who were peers of the second wife (they were already grown). My family are products of that second marriage.
John Joshua lived most if not all of his life in Middleboro Massachussettes, where he died (Social Security Records). He outlived his wife, so I didn't get her name there. He was a cranberry farmer in his later life. His sons (5 by second wife) and daughter sold the farm to Ocean Spray after his death. He may also have been a baptist preacher or deacon. At least two of his sons became preachers, my grandfather also studied at seminary, but left school (and became Catholic at some point, probably when he married my grandmother).
He was born sometime circa 1865 and died sometime circa 1948.
John Joshua Fowler may have used the name John Joshua Fowler-Mullins at some point. We are pretty sure his ancestors from England came over as Fowler-Mullins, but I cannot find anything on him (too common of a name) let alone anything about his family!
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!
