Fowler family, Granville Co., NC- 1700s

Would like to know the names of any Fowlers who lived in the Hawtree Creek area of northern Granville/Bute County, NC before the Revolution. I am trying to find the origin of Nathan Fowler who appeared in Wilkes County, GA after the War.
