Re: Joel Alford Fowler and father Jesse of Missouri and Kansas

I have a Jesse Fowler, b 29 APR 1835 in Stokes Co., NC.He moved to Illinois with his parents and family in 1850.
I know that he served in an Illinois unit in the Civil War.Then I loose track of him.
He probably lived in the Illinois - Kansas area, because he had other brothers and sisters in those states.
Could there be a connection. (He had a brother named Joel.)
