I to have FOWLER's in my family tree my ggrdmother MARY JANE ELIZABETH FOWLER married ALBERT RANES. I looked in my SSI cd and found I beleive your grfather William b. Jan 2 1883 d. Oct 1978 The SSI was issued in and the last payment made in Columbus OH. Do you have any idea what age his brother died and where. I know what you mean by not paying attention to anything family stories when young. I did the same thing now I regreat it. Because it sure would have answered a lot of questions I have now about my family. Maybe they should have written it all down and gave it to us at an older age!Rose from MIpcraab@pathwaynet.com
