Hi Gary, My interest has just been rekindled as on holiday in Cornwall this week, we came across, almost by chance, the grave of William Fradd in Little Petherick. I have looked through my late father's family tree information and assume that this William is my Great Great Great Great Grandfather.
Briefly, my father was Philip Molesworth Fradd,(1923-2003) younger son of George John Fradd (1890-1949)and Edith White . He was the 5th/6th child of Josiah Thomas Oliver Molesworth Fradd (1855-1909) and Mary Ann Way. THat Josiah's father was Joseph Oliver (known as Josiah), ( 1814-1896)married to Catherine Thomas Oliver Moulsworth Boall. we assume that this Josiah came to Cardiff at some point as we have a copy of his burial order from Cathays Cemetery, Cardiff, listing his burial as 18.10.86, and his occupation as a sawyer. My father had a brother, George Vernon, who also lived in Cardiff, (1916-1989), who was married with no children. I have an older brother, who has no children, and a younger sister with one son. I have 2 daughters and still live in Cardiff.
Regarding Elizabeth Oliver Fradd, our tree has her as the second of Joseph and Catherine's children, the first one being Jane Moulsworth (born 1844.) We have Elizabeth'smarriage to Thomas Bird as 1868, but no dates of death.
I hope I have recorded everything accurately, and that this information is useful to you. Which of Joseph's brothers was your Great Great Great Grandfather? I suppose we are distant cousins! Do ask if you need any more information.
