What evidence do you have of this Mary Elizabeth Franks?Mary Hooker wife of Absalom Hooker was not Mary Franks.She was Mary Jarvis.She was born 1795 in Surry NC.Check the census records.Henry Franks and Amy DAvis Franks were too young to be her parents, also I don't think they ever lived in Surry NC where she was born.I had found this error several years ago.It was confirmed when a descendant of Absalom Hooker confirmed that Mary Hooker's maiden name was Jarvis.She was also left furnature in the will of Jabez Jarvis Jr. who I believe was her father though he doesn't state in the will that she was a daughter.
