1761:JOHN (his mark) FRASER, planter, & ELIZABETH (her mark) his wife, toGEORGE KEITH, tanner, both of Saxegotha Township; for 610£ currency, 200 acres, part of 300a in Saxegotha Township bouding NE on Santee River; SE on JOHN GALLESER & vacant land; NW on the remaining 100a; also town lot #74 in Saxegotha in Saxegotha.Whereas the 300a & lot #74 were granted 5 June 1742 by Lt. Gov. William Bull to JACOB REIMERSPERGER; the 300abouding NW on HANNAH MARIA STOLEA; & whereas upon REIMERSPERGER’s death the land was inherited by his 4 daughters & their respective husbands (JOHN FRASER, FREDERICK HOUX, ULRIC BUSSER & JACOB REISTER) & whereas by L & R dated 24 & 25 Aug 1754 the 4 husbands conveyed to JOHN FRASER (coheir) their several fourth parts of the 300a & the town lot; now he sells to KEITH.Witnesses:Johyn Hamelton, Henry (his mark) Gallman.Before Stephen Crell, J.P.Entered in Auditor’s Book E, p. 163 on 24Oct. 1761 by George Johnston for Richard Lambton, Dep.
