Hello Kaye,
I started going thru all the Frazier messages here out of sheer desperation and stumbled across several of your posts. I thought at first I had hit the jackpot until your posting about the 2 John W. Fraziers, b. a year apart in Wellsburgh, VA.Now I'm totally stumped again and was hoping you could help!
My mother knew very little about her grandfather other then their names, John W. and Louise. As I started to dig into the old census records, I found about 4 variations of his wifes name: Laura, Louise, Louisa, Laurie. The 1870 & 1880 census would have his birth @1846/1847. He was a molder by trade and the children listed in the 1880 census is correct, listing my direct link by his son Walter Burton Frazier. (children of John W. and Laura/Louise: John C, George, Addie B., Walter B. and Rob L.)
I was sure that John A. and Margaret E. were his parents, now im not so sure since there seems to be two John W.'s.
If you have any more ideas or information I would be so grateful, this has been a dead end for me for many years.
Thanks again for your time,
Betsie
