p.523 4 Dec., 1790 Robert Bonner of Wilks Co., Georgia to Drury Williams of Pr. Geo. Co., for £40, land on north side of Blackwater Swamp on Fork of Cattail Run, being 1/3 of a tract known by the name of "Caits", being legacy left said Bonner in will of William Bonner, dec'd.
Wit: Hubbard Bonner, James Bonner, James Gary, Joseph Bonner, John Freeman, Heartwell Freeman
Recorded 12 May 1791

Weisiger's Prince George County Virginia Records (1733-1792), p. 152.

Because the witnesses are Bonner, Freeman, and Gary, and because Gary is known intermarriage with Bonner, it implies that Freeman is also intermarriage with Bonner. There is no need for 6 witnesses, so this reads like a 'sign away any future claim here' instrument.

I think Brunswick was formed from Prince George in the 1750s or so.

The Williams Bonner and Joseph Bonner are mine, and I am trying to figure out if the Drury Williams is also.
