Martin and Regina (Teschner) Friedberg, NYC and Calif.
I am seeking more information on the descendants of the following family:
MARTIN FRIEDBERG, b. in Prussia, c.1839, living in New York City as early as 1860.In 1869, he was a clerk living at 262 Seventh Ave., Manhattan.He and his family also appear in the 1870 census of NYC, but disappear subsequent to that.
Martin was m. to RACHEL TESCHNER, also known as "Regina" or "Janine".She was b. in Vag Besztercze, Trencin Co., Hungary [now Slovakia] in 1839, the dau. of Aaron and Cecilia (Wilhelm) Teschner.[Aaron Teschner, b. 1806, was an older half-brother of my own great-great-grandfather, Moses Teschner, 1821-1879.]
Martin and Regina (Teschner) Friedberg had three known children:

2.CHARLES FRIEDBERG, b. New York City, c.1864 [age 6 in 1870].No further information.
3.HORTENSIA FRIEDBERG, b. Manhattan, New York, 8 September 1867; d. in California, 27 February 1942, age 74 years.She was m. "in California", c.1886, to THOMAS V. HARDEMAN, b. Kentucky, December 1857.They were the parents of six children:(a) Vincent V. Hardeman, b. 31 May 1887; d. 29 Feb. 1948; (b) Charles Hardeman, b. 14 September 1888; d. San Jose, CA, October 1967; (c) Paul Hardeman, b. February 1891; (d) Jean Hardeman, b. February 1895; (e) Fabian Hardeman, b. 13 October 1896; d. Burlingame, CA, 14 September 1969; and (f) Thomas Eugene Hardeman, b. 30 November 1899; d. San Francisco, CA, 2 April 1987.
