I just returned from England where I found a Frohock genealogy of which I have no idea as to the authenticity but alas.... no Frohocks mentioned as having gone to the colonies.. What do you have of the "Frohocks in England today"? My husband's line goes back to a John Frohock of Aldreth who m1 Jane Searle (buried at Willingham 1675) and m2 Mary Garner at Wicham (she md Thomas Truman at Longstanton Oct 20, 1697)...
John & Mary had a son John II of Aldreth 1670 - 1719 md Margaret Gooday.... Their son, John III of Haddenham1695 - 1749 md Elizabeth COLE. A 2nd son was Turnbull Frohock b 1698.... (Cousin Turnbull mentioned in Grant of Arms in 1764.
John & Elizabeth's children were... Sarah 1716 - 1798 John 1719 - William of Stoke Newington 1722 - 1764. Arms granted in 1764 Thomas 1723 - 1788 of Waterbeach md 1 Margaret died 1765; md2 Phoebe Lucas (had 2 children who died young) Elizabeth 1727 - 1745 Sylvester Cole 1730 - 1767
Thomas and Margaret had the following children.... Elizabeth bapt 1752 Margaret bapt 1759 Sarah 1756 - John of Waterbeach 1761-1837 Thomas of Willingham 1763-1810 md in 1786 Alice Wayman Sylvester William d 1788 md Avery Few 1775 ( 3 sons; William, John, & Thomas)
Thomas of Willingham and Alice Wayman had the following children.... Alice Newman bapt 1787 Elizabeth bapt 1792 Thomas of Willingham 1763 - 1874 md Mary Pike (Pykein Register) 1793 - 1864 Rebecca 1789 - 1822
