Jonathan Fryar, Sampson co.NC, Caison(Cason)
Jonathan Fryar (RS) b:probably in CT or VT and migrated to Ole Duplin co., before the Revolution. He died in 22 Feb. 1819.
Jonathan Fryar was my G.G.G.Grandfather and he was married to Elizabeth?
I recently received a copy of a will for Charity Hollingsworth Caison(Cason) who was the wife of Cannon
Caison (Cason), in which she leaves Six (6) SHILLINGS to her Son-In-Law, Jonathan Fryar and his heirs.
Charity was the daughter of Henry Hollingsworth and Mary Murray who were my G.G.G.G.G.Grandparents.
All I have had up to receiving a copy of this will was that Jonathan's wife was Elizabeth..no other mention of her or any other wife.
From land sales and records there was a lot of land changing hands between the Fryars, Hollingsworth, Cason families.
So apparently Elizabeth was the daughter of Charity and Cannon.
Hoping someone can shed some light on this family.
Thank you, Jackie Purdy, CA
