Hello, My Grandmother was Betty Pickens (Fugitt)She lived in Willets Calif. My Aunt still lives there her name is Devi Chase. When my grandmother passed away I was given a typed family tree that I just now read through. It is several pages long but I will include some of it here.
My grandmother was one of Charles Franklin Fugitt and Ida Pamela Kuykendall's children. The family tree I have reads the following:
Charles Franklin Fugitt: Born in Tennessee on July 29th 1867,worked as a cowboy on the hundred thousand acre "Goodnight Cattle Ranch", was a texas Ranger, met his wife when teaching a class of penmanship, was a barber, a carpenter, and a rancher. Married Ida Pamela Kuykendall on Feb. 15 1893 in Olney county Texas. ( it says) Father wanted his children to grow up in the pioneering country so in 1914 he sold his home in Olney county Texas and moved to Huerfano county Colorado. He homesteaded 640 acres of land in the foothills of the rocky mountains . in less than fifteen yrs the Fugitt Ranch consisted of almost 2,000 acres. Father raised horses, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. Also hay, grains and all garden vegetables needed for the home. As the children reacched adulthood they moved away to Denver, Colorado, Seattle, Phoenix, and California.
Ida Pamela Kuykendall : was born in Mississsippi ,August 24,1874 and passed away April 1956
Their children were all born in Texas except Bonnie she was born in Colorado
