Thank you for the "heads up" regarding HILTON and HITTON as additional misinterpretations of FULTON. I've also found FOUTOUS in the same area records.
I'm familiar with the FULTON family intermarried with the BALZELL family. Admittedly, I have not researched LeFEVRE but am familiar with this name.
I cannot yet prove the ancestry of the Robert Fulton who settled on Lot #36 in Monocacy Manor, Frederick Co. At least two of his children married members of the Baltzell family.
11 Mar 1794: Robert Fulton [Jr] married Barbara Baltzell
10 Jun 1794: Elizabeth Fulton married Charles Baltzell
Your theory that the wife of Elias LeFevre might be a HILTON [or a FULTON] is of great interest to me.
Perhaps the names of near neighbors will aid in your research?

Robert Fulton, born before 1743 at an unknown location, married Margaret (-?-) at an unknown location, and settled on Lot #36 in Monocacy Manor, Frederick Co, MD, sometime before 1763. Fulton lived adjacent to Peter Hedges and Charles Springer.
Peter Hedges, Lot #24 (Leased 11 Apr 1742 to Frederick Clapbough.)
Robert Fulton, Lot #36 (Leased4 Apr 1745 to Nathan Gregg.)
Charles Springer, Lot #37 (Leased 22 Dec 1741 to John Bell.)
Source: "Pioneers of Old Monocacy" by Grace L. Tracey and John P. Dern (c 1987, Historical Society of Carroll County, Maryland).
I have tracked Hedges and Springer back to Wilmington, PA (now Delaware.)
On 6 December 1750, Peter Hedges married Elizabeth Seeds and on 7 April 1752, Charles Springer married Susannah Seeds. Both marriages recorded at the Holy Trinity Church ("Old Swede's Church") at Wilmington, PA (now Delaware.)
Charles Springer died intestate in 1777/1778 and on 3 October 1778, Robert Fulton and Peter Hedges served as security for Letters of Administration issued to widow Susannah (Seeds) Springer.
Peter Hedges died in 1791 and directed that his son, Peter Hedges, should run the plantation until the lease expired. His Will provides for wife Elizabeth and children: Peter Hedges, William Hedges, John Hedges, Josiah Hedges, daughter Phebe Creager, and grandson Caleb Hedges, son of Caleb Hedges. Witnesses: Joseph Wood, William Creamer, David Beyer. Recorded on 23 February 1792.
Robert Fulton lived until 1806 and resided in Liberty Town District #7 of Frederick Co, MD, at the time of the 1800 Census.
