Helen, I'm trying to trace a Griffin line from Trigg Co. Many married with Colston, Calhoun, Furtell. I'm looking for any thing about James and Mary Hern Griffin, who there children were. One daughter that I know for sure is Temprence, she married Thomas Colston and there daughter Elizabeth married married Perry Futrell. There many other Futrells in Griffin line. Any way there is a John Griffin who is my ggg-grandfather.? who his parents. is he sister to Tempy or nephew, any thing would help. Also interested in any thing in book on Pogue, Newton Pogue who was killed in Canton, Ky.
