I don't think there is any proof that William was son of Thomas. They may have been brothers. Thomas was married in 1716 to Remember Farrow Terry who died in 1719. He married next Mary Durfee in 1719. His first wife [if he had one]is unknown.
It is not probable that William is the son of Thomas of Yarmouth or John b 1605 who died in Bradford, MA in 1673.Their children seem to be well documented.
