Thanks for your message about the Gaineses, Susan.You said that there is new information about that surname, which relates to the Gaynor name.Can you tell me a little about it, please?Supposedly, my g-g-grandmother was Mary GAINES, who married Thomas O'Connor of either County Cork or Kerry, both of which appear pretty far away from County Longford.Yet, I've found that neither Cork nor Kerry can lay claim to many Gainses.One gets confused now and again, I must admit.
