Re: Gaines' from Ireland

With alot of searching I found something quite interesting. A William H. Gaynor born May 8, 1742 in Ireland. 2 children boy and girl. Married Katherine ---. Can't find maiden name. The daughter came to US but her name last name was Gaines. Her birthdate and fathers name matched with the Gaynor record. I am still looking for William to see if he came over and then changed name to Gaines. Or for some reason she did.
