The little info I have found on Sallie and Elizabeth, just doesn't add up.We have visited and have picture of Sallie,s gravesite where she is buried in Butler Co. Ala.Her birth year on the tombstone is 1865, however last night I found her and her family in the Walton County Fl. 1860 census and she is listed as 1 year old.We think her father was William C.M. Gainey who married Elisabeth ? (which we need to know).WE are looking for Native American ties. She had a sister Lizzie (Sara Elizabeth) that we know about and apparently there is another sister named Mary who is the eldest. The family was originally suppose to be from South Carolina. We don't have any info on why or when they moved to Walton County or how Sallie Ann wound up in Butler Co. ala. There she married a Scruggs. Her children were Elvie and Lizze who married Josiah Hendrix and there may have been a brother as well.We have some info, but not many details.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Karen
