With the help of researchers at GFQ (Genealogie France-Quebec), a Yahoo! GroupI got this information.[Anyone working on the Galarneau family history might consider joining the group ... it’s free and incredibly helpful]

from André Filteau, a long-time Galarneau genalogist:
JEAN-BAPTISTE GALARNEAU (son of Louis Galarneau & Marie-Louise Papillon)
+ Marie EDESSE HARDY (daughter of Amable Hardy & Marguerite Dubuc)
were married 17 Feb 1846 at Sainte-Famille church in Cap-Santé, Portneuf, QC.
He is the son of Louis Galarneau and Marie-Louise Papillon.
Records show 6 children, of whom 4 married at Deschambault
In my data base I have these children: Alfred, Napoleon, Elie, Joseph, Emma

Another GFQ researcher sent this:
The web site Mes Aieux(English version is called Your Folks)lists an Isaïïe Galarneau married to Célina Morasse "before 1901", without making the connection back to J.B.They had at least 4 children who married at Roberval.
