Gargrave is not a town in North Yorkshire, it is in fact a village. I have lived in Gargrave for the past 19 years (since I was born). Gargrave dates back to about 1629 and used to be called Gerigrave (mentioned in an earlier notice). It is a village on the A65 between two towns called Settle and Skipton. It is a major tourist place due to the Pennine Way that runs through.
