I realize I am replying to an old message, but I am researching the Guarr side of the family for my new grandson.We are related through Garfield (Guarr) Garr's daughter Lottie Guarr, Chism.

My info showed William Singleton Garr being the child of Michael Daniel Garr and his 2nd wife, Ann Elizabeth Hammond, not the 1st one, Frances.I have that you are decended from Edna Deloras Garr who married Elvin Ray Chisolm.Edna was Lottie's sister.

As to William marrying Edny, I had a date but nothing more - 1878 in Madison, MS.But other info was that it was in New Orleans.
