My grandfather Edward Monroe MORRIS, b. 10/12/1874, Boone County, IA, d. 11/22/1854, Ft. Dodge, IA, was first married to Christina LuArbelle MILLER, b.10/23/1878, d.11/6/1909, buried Rippey Cemetery, Rippey, IA (has headstone; child Clara Evelyn MORRIS, b. 5/2/1898, m. 12/1912 to John Wilson, d. 8/11/1991.Their marriage was in 1898 in Lottie Kenan's (his cousin) home.

My grandfather then married my grandmother Margaret "Maggie" Irene MILLER, b. 9/22/1895 near Berkley, Boone Co. IA, d. 5/30/1972 in Ft. Dodge, IA.Children were Leroy Monroe, (stillborn 1914); Neva Lucille, b. 4/13/1915, my mother and living with my sister in IA.; Mary Katherine, b. 10/23/1916, d. 10/25/1916 ; Baby Boy, (stillborn 1918); and Edna Erlene, b. 7/19/1920, d. 12/13/1993.

My mother researched her family about 20 years ago by writing for records. According to her records, Christina LuArbelle was the 7th known child of Nathaniel Dickerson MILLER and Sarah Elizabeth GARREN, also a sister of my g-g-grandfather.

Anyone wanting additional detail can contact me by email.I can also forward mail to my mother for her comments.

We would appreciate any details going back in GARREN, MILLER, MORRIS families.
