Garrett in Middle Georgia

I am trying to connect Mary A. Garrett born January 1871 in Georgia. She married Arthur Augustus Vanlandingham in Pulaski County, GA November 24 1889. I believe that her parents were David and Matilda Garrett.The 1880 Census information included the following:
Salem District # 348 Dwelling 602-- David Garrett 54 yrs- farmer; Matilda 49 Wife; William 17 son;Temp.(erance) 15 daughter;Lanar 13 daughter; Mary 8 daughter;John McDaniel 7 grandson.
