I have an S.E. Garrett born in 1867 in Claiborne, LA to Thomas Calhoun Garrett & Priscilla Dansby.I'm not sure why I only have first initials - I'll have to check my documentation at home later on this.Her birth date makes her a potential match for your Sara Eliza Garrett.

FWIW, Thomas Calhoun was b. 21-Jun-1828 in Newton, Baker Co., GA.He married in 1852 to Priscilla Dansby b. 12-Oct-1835 in Heard Co., GA.Both died in Patrick, McClennan Co., TX.A number of their children did, too- but I don't have information in my DB for Sara's place of death.
