Greatto see your message regarding the same Garrettfamilythat I'mresearching. Charlie Frankdid have a son named Emmett. I'm not sure if his wife's name was Odessa.I know that there was an Odessa in the family, but I don't want to give you confirmation without looking first. I have just this week found the first census information on Charles Franklin's parents. I had been told by many people that they were in Cherokee County in Alabama. There are several "cousins" there.But, I found them in Hokes Bluff, Alabama...Etowah County...in 1880.At that time it listsJohn Garrettas45 yrs.His wifeJ.A.as35 yrs.and the children as follows:W.A.E.H.E.F.S.F.C.S. (which I am sure is supposed to be C.F.) I have looked for some record of them for 5 yrs. and this is the first and only record I've found.If you have any info on this family,I'd love to work with you to put the pieces together.
