I am not sure.The Stephen Garrett Iam interested in had a son named Jesse but it is my understanding that the entire family moved to Mississippi when the children were young.Do you know the names of your Jesse's parents?My Stephen was married to Huldah so I'm told by family.They had at least four children that we know the names of: Henry Marshall married Eliza Williams (my gg-grandparents), William Coursey born May 14, 1839 and married Sallis Annis McKee, Jesse, and Sallie.I don't know anything about Jesse and Sallie so I don't know if we can make any connection to each other.Let me know if you can see a connection.I would be happy to share what more information I have.
