Marti,My Garrisons -- or Paynes, were also in Ark., although later than 1841.The children of Preston Payne and Edy Garrison were:Matthew, John, Chesley, Millie, Rutha, Mikel, Sarah, Elisha, Preston Jr., and Ida.I think they went to Ark. around 1870 to 1880, and they lived in Jackson and Poinsett Co.In order to have married in 1841, Edy would have been born around 1841, give or take a few years.If this matches up with your Edy, let me know.
