Re: Cornelius Garretson, Baltimore, Md. late 1700s
My Family Finder autosomal DNA tests are back, and I they reach much deeper back on my lines than FTDNA advertises. I even have matches with lines 20 plus generation ago. They are also showing some pretty interesting surname matches that I think might tie into your Edmund and Buckner Garrison. They may even have solved our "Isham" given name source.
Could you send me a list of all theoretical surnames on all ancestral lines from your Edmund Garrison on back. That would include the surnames of the wives, since that autosomal DNA also comes down through the line.
Oh, and BTW, the Population Finder for my autosomal test results came back as:
80.70% Western European (French, Orcadian), meaning a population living between France and the Orkney Islands
19.30% European (Romanian, Russian, Tuscan, Finnish) meaning a population living between Romania, Russia, Tuscany and Finland.
(I was kinda disappointed that no Native American ancestry showed up, haha!)
Anyway, Marti, everyone knows that you are the go-to person for our Garrison line (how do you hold all of the in your noodle?), so let's put our heads together, once again.
