*Name that he receive from the Iroquois (Mohawks) when he held prisoner for about two years. The Iroquois during the night of August 4 to 5, 1689 burbed down the city of Lachine and made many prisoners. Pierre and Charlotte were among them, but Charlotte did not survive the ordeal.
Pirre died in Lachine September 06, 1703 and was interred there the next day.
