Re: Gawronski in Erie, Ward 2, Erie, Pennsylvania
If you know where and when they died I suggest getting their death certificates and obituaries. If in Erie the Pennsylvania Dept of Health would have the death certificates. Check with the Erie County Public Library, Erie Society for Genealogical Research and the Erie Family History Center to see if they can help you find the obits. The cemetery they are buried in may have some helpful data in their records as might the church they were members of.
Their naturalization records should have some helpful data. They probably filed at the Erie County Prothonotary Office although they may have filed in federal district court. The marriage records of their children may have data on their parents such as where exactly they were born. The marriage records of the children who immigrated might have exactly where they were born. Check with the Erie County Register of Wills Office.
