1286       - Ossett.Agnes, servant of Sossanna de Goukethorp complains of Maud, wife of Adam Grafford for trespass.

1285       - Ossett. Henry de Gaukethorpe and Robert his brother pledged.

1286       - Ossett.Maud, wife of Adam Grafford gives 6d for license of concord with Agnes, the servant of Sossanna de Goukethorpe in a plea of trespass.

1286       - Ossett. Henry de Gaukethorpe pledged.

1297       - Adam de Gaukethorpe pledged.

1297       - Ossett.Agnes, sisterof Michael de Gaukethorpe for vert 6d.

1316       - From Richard de Gaukthorp for escape of horses 3d.Adam Gaukethorp for same 2d.

1316       - Ossett.Adam, son of Richard de Gaukthorp gives 2o shillings as heriot of 26 acres 3 roods of land and meadow with buildings in Gaukthorp after the death of the aforesaid Richard his father to hold for himself and his heirs, doing the service therein etc, and the custody of the said Adam is delivered to his mother Agnes byreason of his minority, until he is of full age.He found as pledges to see the sufficient upkeep of the land and buildings, Adam de Gaukthorp and Robert Sonneman.

1316       - Ossett.William Carpenter of Gaukthorpe demands against Adam de Gaukthorpe and Robert Sonneman as executors of the testement of Richard de Gaukethorpe, 1 supertunic, 1 trinket, 1 bow and 24 arrows, 1 horn together with a knife, and 1 dagger as the legacy of the said Richard.The said Adam and Robert came and confessed that all these things were bequeathed to the said William as is pledged.Therefore it is decided that they make satisfaction to him and are amerced 12d.

1316       - Ossett. William, son of John Chikenlay, and John his brother complain of Adam de Gaukethorp and Robert Sonneman, and Agnes who was the wife of Richard de Gaukethorp, executors of the same Richard, in a plea of debt.Pledge of prosecution, William of Heton.

1316       - Hiperum.Adam de Gaukethorp gives 16 shillings as heriot on an oxgang of land with buildings and appurtances in Hipercum, after the death of Henry Marwe his cousin, who died without heir of his body, and whose heir the said Adam is, as is said, to hold to himself and his heirs.

1316       - Ossett.John Flachard and Eugenea his wife complain of Richard de Gaukthorp, executor of testement of Amabel who was wife of John Chikenlay in a plea of debt.Plea of prosecution as the said Richard is dead.

1316       - Ossett. From John son of Richard de Dene for admittance to the lands which were Richard de Gaukthorp’s, with Agnes who was the wife of the said Richard, whom he took to wife; until the coming of age of the said Richard, etc (sic)

1316       - Ossett. It is witnessed by the grave of Ossett that Richard son of John Gaukthorp is sick. Therefore the charge with which he has been charged regarding to the suit of mill is respited.

1316       - Ossett.Richard, son of John de Gaukthorp is charged with withdrawing his suit from the mill.He comes and is not able to acquit himself, therefore is amerced 4d.
