I am researching the Kocher line because they are one of the families that married into my Shoemaker line. Louisa Kocher is the dau. of Josiah and Mary (Davenport) Kocher. Josiah b. March 5, 1803 Hollenbach Twn., Pa. d. May 4, 1883 bur. Kocher Cemetery. Mary Davenport b. May 12, 1807 Union Twn. ,Pa.
Josiah is the son of Thomas Kocher b. April 1,1766 Whitemarsh, Pa. d. March 21, 1842 bur. Mt Zion Cemetery, Wapwallopen, Pa. and Anna BUtler b. Jan. 7, 1767, Pa. d. Feb. 11, 1816 bur Kocher Cemetery.
Josiah is the son of Henry Kocher d. April 4, 1808. and Hannah Thomas d. Aug. 24, 1817.
