I was born, 8/31/28 in Bklyn,NY, Father John Hubert Gaynor, Mother Julia McTiernan. In 1974, visited Old Castle, Westmeath. St. Bridget Church there holds many records of Gaynors-weddings, deaths and births. All ended approx 1850. My Grandmother was Catherine Gaynor(nee Finn),Grandfather John Gaynor.McTiernans came from Co.Monaghan. Also talked by phone to a Chicago policeman, Joe Gaynor who had visited St. Bridget's right after me. He lives in Oak Park, Il.
