Hi Virginia, My family is from Jamaica,West Indies and we just recently started doing our family tree and was wondering if you have ever heard of the name "Gaynair".They're from Jamaica, too--St. Ann's parish.I was wondering: There were a lot of variations of names that I see like Gayner, Gainer, etc. but I've never come across anyone with the spelling G-A-Y-N-A-I-R. I would like to know if you have ever come across this name in doing your research. The Gaynairs was said to have come from France and I'm not sure if they came straight to Jamaica or lived in other countries before settling there.Thank you and hope to hear from you.Peace and Love.Terry.
