Hi. I'm not related to this family. Here is an obit for Frank:
"Frank Geis, 1711 Fairacres Road, died Monday afternoon, July 30, at the Bonelle Retirement Community. He was 81.Born in Russia, July 8, 1892, he came to the United States in 1913 and lived in Oklahoma until 1916 when he came to Greeley. He served with the U.S. Army during World War I, and married Minnie Geis at Gilcrest, Dec. 19, 1920.They farmed in the La Salle area until 1949 when they retired and moved to Greeley...Surviving, in addition to his wife, Mrs. Minnie Geis, are a son and daughter, James Geis of Littleton and Mrs. Harriet Fried of San Marcos, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a brother, Alexandra [sic] Geis of Russia. A son, Lloyd Geis, is deceased...Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens." ~Greeley Daily Tribune, The - Tuesday, July 31, 1973, Greeley, Colorado
