Elizabeth Gerhart who married Jacob Fillman/Fellman/Philmon was the daughter of Johann Peter Gerhart and Elizabeth Schmidt. Peter Gerhart was born about 1716 in Alsace, France,operated a hotel at Rising Sun, Franconia Twp., Montgomery co, PA.He died Dec 1776. buried at Indian Creek Cemetery, Franconia Twp.He was naturalized in Philadelphia 4 Sept. 1753.Other children were were Maria Margaret, (m Scholl), Abraham (m. B. Dotterer), Catherine (m.Johann G. H. Dietz, my gr-gr Grands) Conrad (m. Nais),Jacob (m.E. Dotterer), Peter (m. Hunsberger), John (m. Hartzell, Anna Magdelena (m.Schneider) Barbara (m. Barndt and Isaac (m.Brodt).
