Gary,
I have a James R Gerkin of Orange Cnty Ind. born 1878
who I believe was the father of Foster Gerkin who lived in Mitchell, In. If I am correct I can run that family back to John Gerking from Braden, Germany.This is my wifes family . She is Elsie Gerkin daug of Lester Gerkin. The father of James R Gerkin was Clayburn.
