Gerow newsletter

By David Wilkin October 18, 2005 at 10:05:09

As I prepare the next newsletter for the members ot the Gerow Family Association, I wished to invite any descendants of Daniel Giraud of New Rochelle (NY) to submit material for that newsletter.

Such material could be as simple as the announcement of a birth, marriage or death; a family recipe; a question...

It could be as major as a full article on a branch of the family; an interesting letter or document; a family story...

The most recent issue featured the theme "Gerows in the military", and I'm still receiving material for a follow-up on that theme.

Material could be sent in an e-mail or as an e-mail attachment to dwilkin@wooster.edu, or by regular mail to David Wilkin, 836 N Bever, Wooster, OH 44691I would return any material sent to me, after it serves its purpose for the newsletter.

Personally, I'm in touch with people in France (I'm a retired French professor) about Huguenots who emigrated to North America, including our ancestor , Daniel Giraud.I'm a member of the French Protestant Historical Society and its genealogical branch (La Société de l'histoire du protestantisme français, and the Centre de généalogie protestante).
