Hi Virginia,

Yes all this information has been researched and documented by the Nicholas Gibbs Historical Society.They are headquarterted in Correyton, Tenn. which is in Knox County just north of Knoxville.The Nicholas Gibbs home which is a log cabin built about 1792 is maintained by the society and if you have an opportunity you should visit it.I don't have a current contact close at hand for the NGHS but if you can't locate them get in touch with me and I will dig that information up for you.
