I am not researching these families, just have books on the area.From the book "Abstracts of Charles County Maryland Court and Land Records, 1694-1722, Volume 3" by Elise Greenup Jourdan, is the following:
"Liber H#2, Page 10 - 18 Jun 1716; Recorded at request of William Witter, 3 Mar 1714; Indenture from John Richardson, s/o John Richardson, in the County of York, age 15 years, to John Larkin of the County of Lancaster, mariner, service for 5 years from arrival in Virginia; signed John Richardson; wit. Ba. Peters (mark), John Scott; Richard Gildar(t?), Jr. mariner of Liverpoole; endorsed on back 4 May 1715 arrived on ship ?lverson; ssigned to William Witter, signed John Bruce, alienation paid for abv. named servant by Wm. witter."(Gildar was written without the t, but was in the index with the t)
"Liber H#2, Page 19 - 16 Jul 1716; Public Insturment of Revocation before Ralph Peters, notary in Liverpoole, Lancaster Co., Kingdom of Great Britaib; Richard Gildart, merchant of Liverpoole, by power of attorney dated Apr 1714 authorized John Bruce of Liverpool now of Virginia or Maryland to be his agent; by this instrument discharges sd. Bruce and appoints Richard Done of Liverpoole to manage his affairs in Virginia.Signed Richhd. Gildart; wit. Arthr. Smith, William Prime, John Higginson; Nov Ct. 1706; Smith and Higginson verify signature."
