Peter Monroe GILLIS (b 1 May 1876) was the younger brother of John Thomas Gillis (my Grandfather) and Uncle Roe as I called him was married to Laura May GAMBLE, 3 Mar 1901, Templeton, San Luis Obispo, CA.They had no natural children of their own, but adopted a daughter.Peter Gillis Jr. (b Iowa) and Mary Hildebrand were the parents of Peter Monroe and John Thomas Gillis.Peter Jr's father, Peter Sr was b 5 Jun 1809 in Missouri, and his father was Angus Gillis.What is your relationship to this Gillis family?Maybe I can be of help.
