Bill, I am a descendant of Gist's, but I believe a different line..I just wanted to say to you, that is GREAT that you are willing to scan the picture and to see if someone of that line would like the picture. I'd like to see more people (if possible) if they have pictures to offer the same. I have no pictures of any of my ancestors on the Gist line, except my great grandmother Daisy. I know of no one to have any either (family i.e: aunts, uncles & etc.) Again, that is a very kind gesture.
