Fay Powell Bombino, 82, of Clanton died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at East Glenn Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Birmingham.
She was born on Thursday, August 27, 1931 in Jefferson Co., AL, Daughter of the late Wesley Leonard Powell and the late Pearl Elizabeth Glasscock Powell.
She was a Floral Designer and business owner by trade and possessed many creative talents.
Surviving are Granddaughter, Mrs. Michelle (Ken) Wood Bilboe; Great-Grandson, Mr. Michael Bilboe; Great-Granddaughter, Miss Sydney Bilboe; Brother, Mr. Otis Leonard (Mickie) Powell; Sister, Mrs. Marian P. (Wilbur) Powell; Niece, Ms. Wendy Powell, Ms. Alicia Powell; Nephews, Mr. Gene Powell, Mr. Frank (Tammy) Powell; A Number of Great Nieces & Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. Thomas A. Turner, Daughter, Mrs. Candis Turner Wood, Mother, Mrs. Pearl Glasscock Powell (Leonard Earl) Reddell, Father, Mr. Wesley Leonard Powell, Nephew, Mr. Marc Alan Powell and Nephew, Mr. Wesley Powell.
Friends will be received from 12-1, Saturday, July 12, 2014 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony D. Smitherman officiating.
Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama.
